The Weekend Letter

Well hello there,
 I know this post if somewhat off the schedule as I post only on Sunday Wednesday and Friday...but I figured, it's a Saturday, I have nothing to do, I love my blog, I love whoever is taking out the time to read this, so why not do a celebrity post which doesn't require me to get out of bed :P

Pacs is a Clothing Brand who recently did a Collaboration with the Jenner sisters Kendall and Kylie, I had posted a link in one of the previous newsletters with a video clipping of their shoot and today the collection in online! If you're not buying at least do a favour to your eyes by seeing the gorgeous photos.

Too hot for jeans| Gossip

It's 33 degrees right now in Mumbai and it's getting unbearably hot and the thought of stepping out of the house just makes me have a sunstroke.

Anyway, I am not one to sit at home so I am going out to buy a mini-fridge with my dad for the living room...yay! and when I opened my closet to figure out what I want to wear...the thought of me in ankle length jeans just wasn't right, shorts, yes, possible, but idk I just wasn't in the mood for it. 

So I went on to wear this Floral cutie from Forever21 for 800-900 inr I think...

I paired it up with delicate but elegant jewellery. A bracelet from a 5 pack (F21) and a necklace from London. 

I paired it with my New Look Brown Ballets that I got from Dubai but completely forgot about.

A Little Me & A Little Them

A Little Me
Hie there, I have to admit that I prefer skirts over pants any day of the week.
Why did it occur to me right now? Apparently when I was rearranging my wardrobe this morning I had to make an entirely new section for my skirts, and that got me curious as to why I own so many! I counted: 9. I know, not a great number, but this is just the number of skirts I like! I actually own 14, 5 of which I don't like so much but don't want to get rid of...sigh...
I'd love to showcase my collection, but, wouldn't you appreciate it if I showed you how I paired each one of them? Here's one from Forever 21.It's Floral White Net which is just the right length and flare...cost me only Inr 600 on Sale! I paired it up with another Forever21 for a less sophisticated and laid-back look...

I wore it like this too if you remember my Dubai posts on the blog and Instagram ^^

Where are Hennes & Mauritz?

Hennes and Mauritz or would you rather say H&M? ( pronunciation issues plus who knows fullforms now-a-days anyway)

H&M is a $15 Billion Retail Chain originated in Sweden by founder Erling Persson.

The first retail outlet, named Hennes (meanin: for her or hers) was opened in 1947 for women's apparel. Later in 1968 Persson acquired the hunting apparel retailer Mauritz Widforss leading to Men's apparel. Now this brand is wild spread around the globe in 45 countries dressing up Men, Women! Teenagers and Children.

The brand is well-known for its cheap and quick turnover of fashion merchandise AND ALSO for its amazing collaborations with glamorous names of the industry.

2005 - Stella McCartney 

2006 - Avant-Garde

2007 - Madonna, Roberto Cavalli, Kylie Minogue

2009 - Jimmy Choo

Where are they?

Now, the question arises, why aren't they in India?! After stores like Zara, Only, Hollister, Forever New, Mango, Forever21 and very recently Superdry have opened up at our nearest malls, weshoppers are greedy for H&M, River Island, Topshop and Bershka!

In the beginning of 2014 H&M had announced opening stores in India at the year's end.

"We are very excited to open our first store in India. It is one of the most exciting countries in the world right now, with so much potential." H&M CEO Karl-Johan Persson.

Fingers crossed please: MUMBAI first!

"We're obviously looking at Mumbai and New Delhi, but there are a lot of other interesting cities as well."

So, ladies and gentlemen, please pray that by the time of our birthdays in 2015 we get the opportunity to wear H&M stuff.
