Now that we, here in Mumbai, experienced a few mild showers I figured it's time to prepare for the horrible season in which you can't wear socks, use leather or wear white. Because the rain hates us.

I have MANY leather bags which are bound to get spoilt due to the humidity, if you have leather jackets or bags make sure to keep them in a plastic bag, sealed, and in a dry place.

The Summer Edit: Shorts and Juice

First, I sorta hate the amount of free time I have, don't you? It's like there's NOTHING to do apart from binge watching series or movies and doing stuff that won't really count as actually DOING something.
So, a tribute to my free time...I made a pair of cute pink shorts.
I know how girls just buy stuff or get stuff like clothes from relatives and it's not our size or we just hate it and have no idea what to do, well, if you have ugly or old pants which you just don't want to donate (mean like me) then this is something you should try!
I had these ugly pair of pink pants given to me and I saved them up, for this day.

High Waisted

If you've read my post " too hot for jeans " you'd know that I have just started detesting my jeans. They are full length
They stick to the skin
They don't have pores
They are uncomfortable.
It's too hot for them.
So I have been going crazy over all the online stores like Myntra and Jabong and many many more to find a pair of pants, which are cotton and yet look chic. After searching loads and loads I finally came across this:

And, it was love at first sight. The Pants cost 1499 inr and I had a Jabong coupon, I really recommend to subscribing to their newsletter. They send loads of coupons and additional discounts and more.

So my coupon got me 400 inr off the cost price. So I basically got these pants for a 1099. And that's a really good deal!

So here's how I paired it up:

Too hot for jeans| Gossip

It's 33 degrees right now in Mumbai and it's getting unbearably hot and the thought of stepping out of the house just makes me have a sunstroke.

Anyway, I am not one to sit at home so I am going out to buy a mini-fridge with my dad for the living room...yay! and when I opened my closet to figure out what I want to wear...the thought of me in ankle length jeans just wasn't right, shorts, yes, possible, but idk I just wasn't in the mood for it. 

So I went on to wear this Floral cutie from Forever21 for 800-900 inr I think...

I paired it up with delicate but elegant jewellery. A bracelet from a 5 pack (F21) and a necklace from London. 

I paired it with my New Look Brown Ballets that I got from Dubai but completely forgot about.

Obsessions of the week | Haul

So now that my Bedroom has finally got the remake it deserves and I finally arranged all the things...not really, no...I found some stuff I had bought before my birthday and last week that I had completely forgotten about, and many more things:

Reinventing the Trend

I was browsing thru all the spring collection items at Forever 21 last week and found this really cute crop top for the very pocket-friendly cost of 369 INR.
I picked up a Medium sized one, I usually pick Small but I didn't want it to look too...you know...
So the problem showed up when I showed all the stuff I bought to my mom and her jaw dropped at this one, so, I told her I'd try to wear it as decently as possible...So thru this video you'll see me wearing the crop top and see how to cover up and still look chic and be cool this summer.

Note: Yes, I don't really have a flattering figure (my muffin top loves me too much to break up with me) But I'm not ashamed of it, it's part of who I am so I agree to disagree that some clothes are only for certain body types...

Well, yesterday, I had a blogger's block and so I "literally" googled what to blog about! I'm ashamed of myself, but, as a blogger or infact any activity you do: acting, singing, writing, dancing...there will come days when you have no idea what to do. So, basically I wanted to do a post on " things I do when I'm bored " (I will do it very soon..) I figured it would be fun to do and to read. But, unfortunately I have my Hindi Final exam today so I couldn't find the time to list the stuff I do and take photos and all...and in that process I ended up doing this: another OOTD post.

ooTD (the day) involved a lot of instagram+coffee+studying. 

So the outfit is for the days you want to stay home, look un-bikhari ( like I usually do) and just chill

I just had this pencil skirt from H&M I wanted to wear but it's a size 10 and I'm a size 8. So, nothing ever really went along with it....until I wore it really high waisted and paired it with this oversized knit top.

It looked so cool but it seemed a little bland for my taste so I wore this beautiful chained necklace gifted to me.

I had to pair it with my Forever 21 Flats to complete the brown thing I started with the necklace....

I had to do the photos downstairs with Tigu again because my house's a mess with all the renovation...I wanted to do it in the park but I didn't want to grab unwanted attention.

Cat-o-shoot | Anklet Jam

Hola! So today I couldn't find any of my clothes so I stepped out wearing my Forever 21 Calf-length leggings and my Pull&Bear top.
My outfit needed a much necessary Glam-Sham object and I redid my Anklet jam...and with Tigu featuring on today's posts I can't help but be excited.
You can pair ANY anklets together to create the jam and make an ordinary outfit a little different. Summers are here and the Jam will look fab with shorts and swimsuits too <3

Spring Slippers Recycle DIY

So, I have to be honest and tell you that I wasn't creative enough to think about this myself, a Pinterest post made me do this...

Anyway I replicated the pin in my own way.

1. You will need: Old Slippers, Pair of Scissor, And old Stole/Scarf.
I used my Old Forever21 Slippers, and a Stole I bought while street shopping (Inr 400+75)
2. Cut the stole in half horizontally so that both pieces are equally long enough to cover the slippers and your leg.
3. Tie the Stole as show.
4. Roll the stole around to cover the slipper straps.
5. Tie the remaining stole to your leg in one ou two rounds around your leg.

Viola, Recycling old slippers and Stoles <3 Plus making a really cute pair of slippers.

All That Glitter Faces Splash 

This is apparently my OOTD, as they call it. 

I had fun alternate colouring my nails today :P I had stopped painting my right hand a long time back, I’m still pretty good at it. 

So to talk about my outfit:

I love this jumpsuit! It’s cotton, It’s black and it has the splatter effect of all shades…

I love my mid rings because apparently my hands are the normal custom sized hands, so the rings are never too big or too small and fit perfectly <3

As for the bangles, I usually pair it up with traditional clothes but this time I thought otherwise.

Lastly, my neck piece. I like it because it has the transparent capsule thing which is so cool, It makes me feel like there is some invisible galaxy hidden there and the MIB will hunt me down for it…I know, I imagine too much.

So, I hope this was a helpful outfit inspiration for Spring/ Summer. I really don;t want myself or any of you guys to roll in full clothes, It’s just too damn hot.

So, as I explained I have been a wee-bit busy all these days and believe me I still am very busy and messed up! I swear these might as well be the busiest days I've ever had! I have my dad to chill with, maa's not very well, college is being very annoying given that the teachers are completely ignoring us FYs with the SY exams going on and then I have exams haunting me soon and I also have all my career goals I have to think about.
Oh dear, I rambled too much didn't I?

Without any more distractions let's get right into it. So, I gave a brief explanation about my absence on my last post and well here's something related to it: being a tour around India I got out of my rigid dressing ways and practically spiced it up with some Indo-Western pieces!
I love trying new stuff and on my trip to Dubai I started with my love for Skirts and this trip got me closer to Harem pants!
I know, they seem a bit "tacky' but they are not! They are the better version of Yoga Pants <3 comfort and chic!

So basically my trip was highlighted around sight-seeing for I love History and the Mughal History has a lot to tell in Delhi and Agra...

Springing

Not very long ago had I posted a Winter post...it's Spring now?
Can't deny, I really loved the end of 2014 in terms of Fashion and Events and my choices, it was indeed a perfect end!
Spring is here and I want to make the best of it too! As far as Clothing and stuff is concerned it's all bright colours and fun. I actually do not own any bright colour clothes anymore (since my last wardrobe cleanup) but I do have one top which defines me and this beautiful season just right!
I must admit I picked it up while street shopping...WHAT? IT'S NO CRIME! Street shopping isn't just junk jewellery but also unique pieces you don't find in the mall at like 1/3rd the price!
I picked this top up with my Sister's best friend (who is also my sister) from Manish Market Andheri!
I don't really remember the cost but it was verrryyyy amazing!

As for the material it's a very very soft cotton and as you can see the colours are just way beyond fab!
