Flower Child

So I am just obsessed with Fake flowers, I have them everywhere in my room, but, my door...
I decided to make this floral halo!
Note: I added a lot of flowers cause I was planning it for a room decor thing not a headband or anything but if you want a headband add fewer flowers.

The Summer Edit: Shorts and Juice

First, I sorta hate the amount of free time I have, don't you? It's like there's NOTHING to do apart from binge watching series or movies and doing stuff that won't really count as actually DOING something.
So, a tribute to my free time...I made a pair of cute pink shorts.
I know how girls just buy stuff or get stuff like clothes from relatives and it's not our size or we just hate it and have no idea what to do, well, if you have ugly or old pants which you just don't want to donate (mean like me) then this is something you should try!
I had these ugly pair of pink pants given to me and I saved them up, for this day.
The Look:

DIY for crazy organizers

I think my mom's genes got a bit dominating and shooed the laziness out of me and I did a LOT of cleaning and organising with DIY of course...
I decided to share a few helpful links and show you my DIYs, these are the videos I followed so I decided not to make my own video and stuff.

DIY Body Scrub

Summer. This heat. I need a glass of ice tea, lemon please...
well, by the time my maa prepares that, let me tell you, I have been on a frantic search for homemade body scrubs, probably because my skin feels so rough on my legs. It's so because I take a bath twice a day with refreshing body washes and don't care to apply moisturisers because they make me feel gooey. :/

For the Thirst #1

So, I woke up in the morning feeling so dehydrated, I thought I'd google up some fruit juice. After going thru at least 8-9 pages all giving me juices with ingredients not available anywhere near me. Even if it were available, I am not stepping out of my air conditioned room just for one thing :/ heh.
So, I finally found some recipes, but I thought I'd try one at a time
Well, Watermelon it is:
Ingredients:
1. Half a watermelon for 2 glasses
2. 1 tsp lemon juice
3. 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
4. mint leaves to serve
5. ice cubes to serve

Steps:
1.Chop the watermelon flesh and add some water in the juicer and make juice :/
2. add the lemon juice and ginger (make sure you add very little+taste+add more if required or it will turn out to become pathetic medicine tasting juice)
3. Sieve the juice to remove the fibre and ginger.
4. Add mint leaves and ice cubes to your liking.
5. Drink it.

Spring Slippers Recycle DIY

So, I have to be honest and tell you that I wasn't creative enough to think about this myself, a Pinterest post made me do this...

Anyway I replicated the pin in my own way.
1. You will need: Old Slippers, Pair of Scissor, And old Stole/Scarf.
I used my Old Forever21 Slippers, and a Stole I bought while street shopping (Inr 400+75)
2. Cut the stole in half horizontally so that both pieces are equally long enough to cover the slippers and your leg.
3. Tie the Stole as show.
4. Roll the stole around to cover the slipper straps.
5. Tie the remaining stole to your leg in one ou two rounds around your leg.

Viola, Recycling old slippers and Stoles <3 Plus making a really cute pair of slippers.
If you attempt these do send me a photo as a DM on my Instagram or post it here or Upload it on G+ and tag me :D would love to see your creation.

Have a happy DIY

DIY: Moustache Bookmark

#MOUSTACHEBOOKMARK

Hie! I'm sorry for not posting the past to days, my cat (Sugar) that I said was unwell in my last post passed away on Friday and I took the days to recover.
Anyway, I did this really cute DIY bookmark for my books! It just came to me and I thought I should share!

Things you'll need:
Drawing paper ( any colour)
Cardboard or card paper
paint ( any colour)
pencil
eraser
flat paint brush
Glue

Steps:
1. Draw half of your moustache on a folded card paper to get two exact looking sides of the moustache. Make sure to not cut in the middle. This is your stencil.
2. Place the stencil on your choice of paper (or paint white paper to your choice of colour) ( I chose classic black) and draw along the lines to later cut out.
3. Place a rough paper below and paint your moustache and a strip of paper.
4. Use the painted strip of paper to make a holder and stick it on the back. This will make the moustache stand still.

So Adorbs, eh? I really love reading books and I usually just use the bookmarks sent in by flipkart but I thought I could do so much better!

Nail Lacquer Arranger DIY

Step 1: Find a Cardboard box. Preferably of a pretty colour. I chose an old Catwalk shoebox.
(take a box which is big enough to fit all future Lacquer bottles too)

Step 2: Cover it up with pretty craft papers found in any Stationery.
( secure with both glue and cello-tape to prevent shabby papers as the box below is :P )

Step 3: Dispose all unused and dry Lacquers. You have got to get rid of those bottles to make space for new ones!

Step 4: Use a sheet of Self-Adhesive Labels ( size of your nail) and paint 2 colours each on one label as shown below.

Step 5: Peel put the sticker and punch one prefect hole out of each shade and stick it on top of the Lacquer bottle.

Step 6: Place your Lacquers Neatly in the pretty box you made and done! Now you will never have to struggle to find the right shade at the right time! Plus if you have enough place you can keep more stuff like I did.

What's in my drawer?

Well it is one of the 7 drawers I have for accessories and stuff. But this one is my essentials drawer!
Going clockwise I have a tray for big clips for one of them messy hair days, then a tray for smaller clips and accessories most of which I bought from Twisted ( an accessories store in Inorbit which is no more open :( ) then I have my cute bows collection again from Twisted and Forever21, HAIR TIES all from Forever21 and some from Accessorize.
There's a small zip-pouch containing a very cute mani-pedi kit from Forever21 :D
Then I have a few travel pack Bvlgari moisturisers, a bowl full of tick-tack clips, a tin box full of U pins and hairpins and safety pins of all sizes. I also keep some nail art sponges here.
The big section basically has: no heat Hair Rollers from Forever21, Eyelash Curler, Zuci Hand Sanitizer, Big bracelets, headbans and bubble hair ties/ elastics!
(I had to shift them to another small drawer alltogether so that I stop losing them!)
The mid section has pretty hairpins from Forever21 and Twisted and a Wristwatch pouch.
Basically, I have all my essentials for any sort of hair in this drawer, I like to keep stuff organized or else I end up losing stuff ( always!) The compartments are not store brought I just kept stuff in boxes of chocolates like Ferrero Rocher and NY Hershey's kisses or just any unused plastic container like thing!
I hope this helps you organize and buy stuff which are essential!
See ya!
