Genuine product review: finished products

So you guys must definitely know what it's like to have, not one of those days, but, one of those weeks where everything seems to go wrong, Yep, happened to me. I got sick, really high fever and stuff, homework not yet done, haven't spoken to ANY friend of mine lately apart from 2 or 3 who I believe helped me keep my sanity, also, my skin's going crazy with all these pimples and stuff...you know what? I'm just not listing it any further or giving it any importance. I am trying to get out of it and I will, so will anyone out there in the same situation.

The Quick Nail Fix

Not all of us are blessed with a lot of time ( honestly, I always find time). Time for what you ask?
The title, people, says Nail fix...so it's pretty obvious this is a nail paint post :P
So I guess I saw this on Pinterest or on Cosmo's Snapchat Story :/ I dunno.

I figured I should try it. I did, I was the Guinea Pig, and here is the verified fix for your nails.

Problem: Outgrowing your old nail paint.
Observation: Nail Cuticles grow causing the naked nail to be visible.

Happy Holi

Sorry for not posting yesterday you guys I just was soon into spending time with my best friend . It's been forever for us.
Anyway I decided why not make a holi preparations and celebrations blog with my bestie ofc!
so:

1. Do not take a bath!
I know, but what's the point? you will have to take a bath again right? this is the one day in the year you'll actually be proud to say you didn't bathe :P

2. Oil everywhere.
Not just your hair but also your body to prevent from the colours from making a long term impact or harm your skin.

3. Tie your hair in a braid or pony
To prevent excessive colour damage.

4. Use Safe colours.
Colours that are eco-friendly and not permanent.
5. Apply nail paint.
On both feet and hands. this is to prevent the colour from staining your nails. No manicure can remove it all you know!

6. Conditioner.
Idk but I started doing this a couple of years back, I use conditioner to remove colour from rigid places, It's a oily sticky things so I guess colour comes out better without harming skin or hair.

7. Wear old clothes and old slippers or no slippers at all.
The will never look the same again. trust me.

8.The colours you use may be non-permanent but you never know what the other person uses so be careful and tell everyone to use eco-friendly or safe colours.

Lastly, take care and have an amazing and safe holi you guys.
loads of love :*

It's Glitter

1. Remove all existing Nail Paint
3. Apply a base coat.
2.If It's a glitter nail paint soak a cotton ball and press your nail for a minute to dissolve the glitter
3.Apply 2 coats of any shade of paint you like and wait to dry.
TIP: If you have made a mess and applied nail paint on the skin use a earbud soaked in Nail paint remover to wipe away
5. Take a glitter nail paint and do a french manicure to the tips of all nails. Add 2/3 coats depending on the opacity of the glitter
5. Remove excess nail paint in the bottle and drag the brush from ed to cuticle for the smudge effect.
6. Finish with a top coat.

Nail Lacquer Arranger DIY

Step 1: Find a Cardboard box. Preferably of a pretty colour. I chose an old Catwalk shoebox.
(take a box which is big enough to fit all future Lacquer bottles too)

Step 2: Cover it up with pretty craft papers found in any Stationery.
( secure with both glue and cello-tape to prevent shabby papers as the box below is :P )

Step 3: Dispose all unused and dry Lacquers. You have got to get rid of those bottles to make space for new ones!

Step 4: Use a sheet of Self-Adhesive Labels ( size of your nail) and paint 2 colours each on one label as shown below.

Step 5: Peel put the sticker and punch one prefect hole out of each shade and stick it on top of the Lacquer bottle.

Step 6: Place your Lacquers Neatly in the pretty box you made and done! Now you will never have to struggle to find the right shade at the right time! Plus if you have enough place you can keep more stuff like I did.

Out with the Old

Well as the year of 2014 wraps-up let's take a really long and intense look at all the trends we've so blindly followed...

1. Crop Tops: Yes, yes, yes I've been a victim too so I won't really blame anyone but this one, this trend, I'll completely blame on the Celebrities with their perfect tans and full lips and washboard abs!
Crop tops are said to be a quintessential part of street style...I partially agree, but is it really necessary? Not at all!
The thing is not all of us have a washboard stomach or a good pack of abs to show-off, and when you walk into a cafe wearing a crop top so wrongly matched its a horror to the eyes of everyone who's vision span you get into. I'm not against the trend or trend-followers, but there's a way to pull it off which no one can really do without investing a good load of time and money.
Crop Tops were a huge hit, but I think we've reached the saturation point and should probably move on to better trends.

2. Mirror Sunglasses: Oh! How thankful I am to not be a blind trend-follower. I always hated them but I do know a few people who pulled it off really well!
The thing with mirror sunglasses is that there is a way and a time and a place to wear it, you can't just pull on any leather jacket and expect the glasses to compliment your outfit, No. These glasses were made for lighted occasions where the reflective surface would blend rather than stand out like at the beach or for a garden party or pool party... you usually wear colours like white or any pastel shade to accompany it.
When you wear it on the street with just any outfit you look retarded. Yes, very retarded. So better to forget the painful attempts of rocking the mirror sunglasses...

(does this idiot rock the look? comment :P)

3. Boyfriend Jeans: Well I do own a pair, they're extremely comfortable and look tolerable but the limit was crossed when stores started selling broad fit deserted ankle-length jeans! Like, no. I won't look like a street urchin even if I get featured in Vogue for it.
People can pull it off really well but being a girl (not gonna even get into a guy's mind) I believe flaunting your butt is something very feminine and would beat boyfriend jeans anyday! I am so inclined towards discarding my not-so-slim-fit jeans but apparently I'm restricted for shopping anymore so I'll just stick to them for a while.
I really really want to try slim fit ankle length denims like the ones Anushka Sharma so chic-fully ricked in her latest movie PK. She looked adorable!

4. Extra Fringing: I love love love fringe! I just bought 2 Bags with fringe and I can't wait to show it to you in an up-coming Dubai Shopping Haul!
But I draw the line when it comes to extra thing full fringe skirts/ dresses. I don't want to chiggy-wiggy with you.
Adding detailed fringes like to accessories on at the hem of a dress makes sense, but doing an overall is just an eye-sore!

5. Nails: I have noticed girls obsessing over nail-art too much over the past 2 years and yes, I've done it too! But I hate too much detailing or a cluster of ideas on one nail! Leave your hands alone for once!
I would suggest plain colours, different colours of the same colour scheme on each finger, french manicures, glitters, splatters, abstract, animation.
I would not suggest too much marbling, too much abstract, horrible glitter, wrong colour scheme, wrong nude shades, cream nails!
Keep it simple, it shouldn't look like you tried to hard for your NAILS...but do attend to them and don't go hoyden!

The main aim of any trend is to bring uniqueness in something common. Aztec was a huge hit and will continue to be so because it's an effortless print that goes along well with everything. Going Monochrome is another trend being followed since black/white movies. The reason these are timeless is because they are easy but when there are new trends around you, you have got to take a pause and think if it will really suit you enough. Why pay for something that makes you feel bad for yourself? We already have free low-self-esteem for that!

My tip for the upcoming year is to set your own trend whilst you follow the ones around you, try new things but realise quick enough if it's working or not.

You shouldn't look too much or too less, just yourself.

What's in my drawer?

Well it is one of the 7 drawers I have for accessories and stuff. But this one is my essentials drawer!
Going clockwise I have a tray for big clips for one of them messy hair days, then a tray for smaller clips and accessories most of which I bought from Twisted ( an accessories store in Inorbit which is no more open :( ) then I have my cute bows collection again from Twisted and Forever21, HAIR TIES all from Forever21 and some from Accessorize.
There's a small zip-pouch containing a very cute mani-pedi kit from Forever21 :D
Then I have a few travel pack Bvlgari moisturisers, a bowl full of tick-tack clips, a tin box full of U pins and hairpins and safety pins of all sizes. I also keep some nail art sponges here.
The big section basically has: no heat Hair Rollers from Forever21, Eyelash Curler, Zuci Hand Sanitizer, Big bracelets, headbans and bubble hair ties/ elastics!
(I had to shift them to another small drawer alltogether so that I stop losing them!)
The mid section has pretty hairpins from Forever21 and Twisted and a Wristwatch pouch.
Basically, I have all my essentials for any sort of hair in this drawer, I like to keep stuff organized or else I end up losing stuff ( always!) The compartments are not store brought I just kept stuff in boxes of chocolates like Ferrero Rocher and NY Hershey's kisses or just any unused plastic container like thing!
I hope this helps you organize and buy stuff which are essential!
See ya!
